Covenant UMC is...

• Immersed in 40 Days of Purpose during the season of Lent with worship geared toward God's 5 purposes and 4 small groups meeting at different days and times to assimilate what we are hearing and reading.

• One couple just got back from working voluntarily at the UMCOR Depot in Louisiana.

• The UMW are meeting and having Carol Crawford (spouse of Tim, Exec. Dir. of Henderson Settlement) share about her work and the work of the Settlement (which the women's group helps support).

• A women's retreat is being held in April at Henderson Settlement (organized by a lay women in our church).

• A new inter-denominational monthly prayer breakfast has been established by a layman.

• After a Youth experience in Nashville (called "The Power of One") three of our Youth are planning on spending a month this summer on a mission trip.

• In late March or early April we will begin a search for a full-time Director of Youth Ministries and/or Children's and Youth Ministry.
