What a wonderful weekend in Wayne County as we gathered for our County-Wide Revival at the Monticello UM Church. The revival was held Friday, November 11th through Sunday, November 13th, with Rev. Paul Fryman as the Evangelist.

Brother Paul is the District Superintendent for the Columbia District. Brother Paul brought us a great message that charged us with keeping our eyes on Jesus, following Him and being chained together in ministry. Brother Paul also brought a inspiring devotional meditation to the County UM Men after Breakfast on Saturday, encouraging us to keep our eyes on Jesus' back, following him where is he goes, and doing the kind of things he does.

We also enjoyed music on Friday night by the Praise Group from Somerset UM Church, and on Saturday by the Praise and Worship Team from Corbin First UM Church.

Wayne County is made up of 9 United Methodist churches and 3 pastors. Rev. Steve and Wendy Wheeler serve the Mill Springs Circuit (Tuttle's Chapel, Eller's Chapel, and Meadow Creek); Rev. Earnest and Eva Mann serve the West Monticello Circuit (Bethesda, Cable, Keene's Chapel and Edward's Chapel); and Rev. Jim and Suzie Savage (Monticello, Lockett's Chapel). Brother Terry and Judy Faris were also in attendance on Saturday night as we worshipped together.

As we celebrated our final night together we share our diversity by sharing praises that are going on in the individual churches, just before being charged to be united in ministry with one another. What a wonderful weekend in Wayne County United Methodism.
