TO: Pastors of Churches Participating in the Bishop’s Leadership Institute

RE: Registration Information for the Leadership Institute

Bishop King has invited you and your lay team to be a part of the Leadership Institute to be held March 26-27, 2004. We have received your Covenant Plan Commitment Form indicating that your church will participate. Several persons have called for more information about the event, and I’m enclosing a fact sheet with the latest up to date details from the Institute Planning Team. A more detailed brochure is in the making!!

The Institute begins with the evening session (no meal provided) on Friday at 7:00 p.m. (ET) and concludes at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Persons will make their own hotel/motel reservations, but note the special rates that the Hyatt is giving us for Friday night, March 26.

To register for the event, we will need names of your team members along with $15 per person payable to “Kentucky Conference Treasurer” and sent to the Episcopal Office, ATTENTION: The Bishop’s Institute, by February 27^th.

PASTORS, PLEASE NOTE:

The Clergy Day Apart, for the Larger Covenant Connection of Elders, Deacons, and Local Pastors, will be held on Friday, March 26, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This should be a great day with Bishop King and Dr. Weems offering leadership.

ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN TIME AND BOTH THE CLERGY DAY APART AND THE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE WILL BE HELD IN THE NEW BLUEGRASS BALLROOM AT THE LEXINGTON CENTER CONNECTED TO THE HYATT.
