The theme of our 2003 Kentucky Annual Conference was "Let Our JOY Be Known."These wonderful words come from the hymnist Isaac Watts, who in 1707 wrote:
"Come, we that love the Lord, and let our joys be known."
In 1867, the hymnist Robert Lowry added the refrain: "We're marching to Zion".
In the logo, we can see the people of God going up Mt. Zion, ascending the hill of the Lord, as they move on to higher ground and the work of the kingdom of heaven.
We also see the loving hands of God reaching down to all of us in love and grace.
We also see that we are walking with others, and not by ourselves.
As we receive God's love and grace, we are all connected/clustered together in Christ.
