A HAPPY NEW YEAR

Upon his retirement as CEO of the Coca Cola Company Donald R. Keough spoke to the graduating class of Emory University. To those young men and women who would soon be facing a very tough and difficult world, he said, "I can take the newest building, built by the finest builders anywhere in the world, and if you give me a camera and the ability to focus various lenses, I can make that building look like it's about to fall down because I will find five or six minor imperfections, focus on them and convince you that the entire structure is about to topple." ¹

Here we are on the threshold of a brand new and exciting year. God wants us to focus on the opportunities for His spirit to work in us and through us during 2005. If we only focus on the imperfections of life, we will surely falter and fail. When we allow our faith to focus beyond our limits and reach to God, His Spirit will empower us and give us strength to face any situation that the New Year presents. May God bless you and bring eternal happiness to you in 2005.
