I was on my way to work a little while back when I saw an amazing sight. It is very hard to describe, but if you have seen it yourself, you will know what I am talking about.
As I was driving along I saw an enormous flock of birds, thousands and thousands of them. They were flying about in formation. It did not seem that they were going anywhere in particular. In other words, they were not migrating or going to their roosting place. They seemed to be flying just for the joy of it. What a sight that was!
It was a windy day and they seemed to be playing with the wind. All of a sudden, they split into two groups. These two groups seemed to dance with each other. The nearest thing that I can use to describe what this dance looked like is the Olympic dancers who twirl a ribbon on the end of a stick. The birds seemed to twirl in a column. It was such an amazing sight that the traffic slowed to watch them. One car even pulled off to the side of the road.
Our God is an amazing God and He has created a lot of neat stuff. In our busy, busy lives, we often rush around and don't take time to "smell the roses." We need to stop once in a while and watch the birds dance.
