-----Being born makes us physically alive and places us in our parents family. Being reborn makes us spiritually alive and places us in God's family. As God's children, we are His dependents. Dependent children spend very little time worrying about meals, clothing, medical care, shelter. They believe, and they have a right to, that all will be provided by their parents. Dependent children are not backward about asking for favors. They boldly make their needs known to their parents. Our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we ask, and therefore He is very aware that we are dependent upon Him for life's necessities. Christ, whom we are joint-heirs with, said, Ask and it it will be given; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened unto you . Matthew 7:7
-----As a child of the most High God, we can be confident that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20
----Let us, as His children, approach the throne of grace with boldness and faith, and make our needs known. He who asks receives.
