There are lots of wonderful creeks, rivers, and lakes in the Corbin District. One of the best lakes is Lake Cumberland, about one hour from Corbin. Our Christmas Gift this year from the Pastors & Families was a day of "striper" fishing on Lake Cumberland. Judy and I are planning on this in the spring. In the photo, you can see a "striper" from Lake Cumberland with our good friend, Mark Norman, from the Covenant UMC in La Grange, Ky. Mark says that he caught this fish, but there is a rumor going around that he bought this fish from Carl Elmer at Kroger's.
