On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the local United Methodist Men of the Macedonia UMC in the Laurel County Cluster of the Corbin District, treated their wives to a "Thanksgiving Breakfast" in the Fellowship Hall. Not only was it a wonderful time of food, fellowship, worship, and prayer, but it also was the beginning of service and ministry, as thanksgiving fruit baskets were being taken to the shut-ins of the church and the community, as Jesus calls us to do: "I was sick and you visited Me" Matthew 25:36.
Macedonia UMC is a loving, healthy, and growing rural church. In the last year, 9 new members have come into the life and ministry of the Church Family, as the church lives out the 5 Missional Paths (FLOWS) - Fellowship, Learning, Outreach, Worship, Service.
