Serving "The Least of These"

Appreciate Breakfast

On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the local United Methodist Men of the Macedonia UMC in the Laurel County Cluster of the Corbin District, treated their wives to a "Thanksgiving Breakfast" in the Fellowship Hall.

Not only was it a wonderful time of food, fellowship, worship, and prayer, but it also was the beginning of service and ministry, as thanksgiving fruit baskets were being taken to the shut-ins of the church and the community, as Jesus calls us to do: "I was sick and you visited Me" Matthew 25:36.

Macedonia UMC is a loving, healthy, and growing rural church. In the last year, 9 new members have come into the life and ministry of the Church Family, as the church lives out the 5 Missional Paths (FLOWS) - Fellowship, Learning, Outreach, Worship, Service.
