Bill and Jayne Squires' Family

Melinda and Charles with DS Terry Faris Bill and Jayne Squires are active members of their local church in the Columbia District, and they live out their love for Christ and His Church on a daily basis. Not only does Bill know how to handle finances and stewardship, he also knows how to raise a family for the Lord.

Bill and Jayne's daughter, Melinda Squires Senters, and her husband, Charles, are active members of the Sardis Chapel UMC in Pulaski County.

Melinda teaches history at Lindsey Wilson College, and is working on her Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky.

In the photo, Corbin District Superintendent Terry Faris, has given both of them crosses made from lumber (natural purple color) brought back from Costa Rica by the Youth Mission Team from the Covenant UMC in La Grange, Ky. The wooden crosses were made by Mark and Alan Mercurio, the sons of the late Don Mercurio, who began the "Cross Making Ministry" that has already blessed so many people in the Corbin District.
